Becca is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who specializes in supporting teens and adults navigating the complexities of eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns. She leans into the idea that our relationship with food and our bodies is rarely just about the food itself—it's where identity, control, and emotional experiences often collide.

Her approach is warm, collaborative, and empathetic. Becca focuses on creating a steady, grounded space where you can untangle these patterns at a pace that actually feels manageable. She doesn't see healing as a matter of willpower; instead, she helps clients look under the surface at the relational and psychological factors that keep these cycles in place.

In practice, Becca blends evidence-based tools with a focus on building sustainable, flexible coping strategies. Her goal is to help you lower the volume on shame, build self-understanding, and eventually reconnect with your body in a way that feels safe. Whether working with adolescents or adults, Becca values a therapeutic connection that feels balanced, respectful, and deeply compassionate.

LPC Associate Supervised by Carissa Cano, LPC-S

I provide a supportive, collaborative space for adults and adolescents navigating anxiety, life transitions, identity questions, and the emotional impact of recent years. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, spiritually unsettled, or desire a deeper self-understanding, I tailor therapy to meet you where you are with compassion, curiosity, and practical tools for change.

My clinical training is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and I integrate mindfulness, body awareness, and trauma-informed approaches to support clients in building insight, emotional regulation, and personal resilience. I’m especially interested in helping clients who feel stuck in unhelpful thought patterns, overwhelmed by life changes, or unsure how to move forward.

I see therapy as a space to explore both the challenges you’re facing and the strength you’ve already been using to survive. My role is to help you make sense of your experience, reconnect with yourself, and find ways to live more authentically.

I currently offer online sessions across Texas. Click on my picture for more information.

Hello, I’m Sarah Unertl. My passion lies in supporting you in reaching your goals and enhancing your life in meaningful ways. With over 10 years of experience as a school counselor, I specialize in helping parents navigate ADHD management for themselves and their children, along with other challenges that arise when raising school-aged kids. I believe in a person-centered approach to therapy, where building a trusting, collaborative relationship with individuals and couples is paramount.

I practice unconditional positive regard and aim to approach every session with empathy, creating a safe environment for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. This strong foundation is crucial for fostering growth and positive change.

We are all beautifully complex beings, shaped by various aspects of our identities—such as our work, race, gender, sexuality, and the roles we play as parents, spouses, and children of aging parents. Unfortunately, many clinicians shy away from discussing sexuality. It is surprising how often human sexuality is excluded from educational training for counselors, potentially leading to challenges when navigating these sensitive topics. As a result, discussions may be swayed by conservative or mainstream views rather than grounded in evidence-based understanding.

Hello! I’m Ysabel Hinojosa. I have my Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Addiction Studies from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, and a Masters in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University.

Individual Therapy: I welcome a variety of concerns, but not limited to: relationship issues (peer/romantic/familial), anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem, spirituality, pregnancy, attachment, kink/diverse sexuality and trauma.

Couples Therapy: I dedicate a part of my practice to dealing with relational conflict. As a neutral third party and ally, I can help you explore and expand perspectives, learn skills for productive conversations, and work through gridlocked conflict more effectively and efficiently.

In therapy you'll find that my style is warm, empathic, compassionate and empowering. I take an eclectic starting point, with a relational approach, aspects of mindfulness, family systems, IFS and DBT. Ultimately, I believe therapy is unique to each person and an individually tailored plan should be made for each person's needs. Whether looking for individual or couples therapy, our collaborative space will be used to deepen understanding of your desires, needs and inner parts of yourself.

How can you tell the difference between anxiety and intuition? It’s a question many of us have asked ourselves. Most of us weren’t taught how to deal with emotions as kids; we were taught to behave and obey. Over time, we learned to people-please and avoid making waves. Now, as adults, it can feel hard to honor our needs, feel worthy of shifting unhealthy dynamics, or fully experience the weight of our grief.

With somatic psychotherapy, we begin to gently untangle all of this. At your own pace, we explore the difference between anxiety and intuition by building a deeper connection with your body. You’ll learn to trust your inner signals and feel your feelings instead of just thinking them.

If this sounds like a journey you’re ready to begin, email me to schedule a free 20-minute consultation call. I work with individuals 18+ and see clients Monday through Thursday, both in person in the Austin area and virtually throughout Texas.
